April 21, 2007. Karen and Jimmy had a beautiful, heartfelt wedding with an evening reception at the Doubletree in RTP. The sunset was amazing over the pond as their band played Latin beats in honor of Karen's heritage...
April 21, 2007. Mike and Jen had a sunset outdoor ceremony at Meredith College in the amphitheater and then spent the evening celebrating with friends--it was definitely a party! Mike and Jen are definitely mellow--Jen's dress had a huge hole ripped in it before the ceremony and she didn't let it phase her.
April 27, 2007. Greg and Kelly had a fabulous fairytale wedding at The Fearrington House in Pittsboro, NC. They married outside under an arbor covered in florals and then had a throw-down in the barn covered in twinkle-lights.
April 28, 2007. Brittany and Patrick said "I do" at the Poe House in Raleigh-- one of the most beautiful homes in Raleigh-- and then rode the trolley over to the Capital City Club where they danced the night away!
Josh and Sarah are coming in tonight for their proof reception...we have put all their wedding day photos to music on a DVD slideshow and have goodies prepared for them and their guests. I can't wait for them to see their pictures! These little web host cards are an easy way for them to spread the word about their web upload of photos, which go live tonight! Proof receptions are one of the highlights of the wedding photography packages for me. The ambiance, the excitement--it's just a great way to see the photos for the first time. I also love hearing about everyone's trips to various honeymoon hot spots. 
Josh & Sarah's wedding on May 5, 2007 was a lot of fun-- it rained, but we still got beautiful shots. Sarah and Josh had a 90's cover band play at their reception at the Piedmont Club in Winston-Salem-- "The Buzz"-- and they kept the party going!
One of the things I love about shooting babies is to watch how adults will do almost anything to make their child smile. Getting babies to smile is just one of life's little treasures!
